Taking into consideration the innocuous nature of prayer sought in the present writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage without inviting any counter affidavit. 4. While the petitioner was working as Skilled Assistant Grade-II in the respondent corporation, he was subjected to disciplinary proceedings, by issuing a charge memo vide proceedings in ROC.NoA1/83/2023 (TDP.04/2023) dated 27.09.2023 and the same is pending for enquiry before the 2nd respondent. Though the said charge memo has been issued as early as in the year 2023, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, there is no much progress in the said proceedings and because of the pendency of the said proceedings, the petitioner is vehemently affected in his service prospects. 5. Taking into consideration the fact that the enquiry proceedings are pending against the petitioner for the past three years, this Court is of the considered view that it is a fit case where appropriate 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD) No.18027 of 2026 directions should be issued for conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings at the earliest. 6. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings in ROC.NoA1/83/2023 (TDP.04/2023) dated 27.09.2023 as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
