The prayer made in this petition is for a direction to the respondents authorities to initiate and expedite the process of acquisition and grant compensation in respect of the land admeasuring 1.32 H.R., Gat No. 39, Survey No. 119, situated at village Movada, Tah. Ghatanji, Distt. Yavatmal. Consequential reliefs have also been sought. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, fairly submits that the suit was filed and in the Written Statement, a stand was taken by the respondents authorities, which is contrary to the prayer made in this petition. 4. The decision taken be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter. 6. At this juncture, it is necessary to state that, when the respondent authorities will deal with the issue raised in the writ petition, they shall not be influenced by the findings given in the civil proceedings, and the prayer made in this petition shall be decided independently. 8.
