The petitioner herein claiming to be a former member of the third respondent – Temple, has assailed the impugned notification on the ground that it is only the fourth respondent, who is competent to appoint the employees of the third respondent – Temple and therefore, the third respondent cannot issue the impugned notification. 3. Mr.S.Manohar, learned counsel, who takes notice for the third respondent – Temple, submits that it is only the fourth respondent, who is going to issue the appointment orders and not the third respondent. 4. The petitioner herein is neither a candidate aspiring to participate in the recruitment process pursuant to the impugned notification nor in anyway presently connected with the affairs of the third respondent – ____________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD) No.18743 of 2026 Temple. If at all the petitioner has got any grievance against the impugned notification, that can only be by way of a public interest. The petitioner having any personal interest in the recruitment process initiated by the first respondent, this Court does not see any locus for the petitioner to maintain this writ petition. Further, this writ petition has been filed under the misconception that the respondents 1 and 3 are going to appoint the candidates pursuant to the impugned Notification, which is totally baseless on the face of it. 5. In the light of the above, this writ petition is totally misconceived and accordingly, is dismissed. No costs.
