ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioner seeks the following relief:
To issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner’s Representation dated 09.10.2025, which is at Annexure-E and further direct the respondent No.2 to extend the service weightage to the petitioner, in the interest of justice and equity.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for respondent No.1 and learned counsel for respondent No.2 and perused the material on record.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representation at Annexure – E dated 09.10.2025 submitted to the respondents praying to grant the proportionate service weightage has not been considered so far by respondents nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court by way of present petition.
4. Per contra, learned AGA for respondent No.1 and
learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that if reasonable

time is given, the respondents would consider and pass necessary
order on the said representation.
5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the concerned respondents are hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioner and consider his representation at Annexure – E dated 09.10.2025 bearing in mind the order passed by the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court in the case of The Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society Vs. Mounesh and others - W.A.No.545/2021 dated 07.11.2022 and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Subject to the aforesaid observations and directions, the petition stands disposed of.
