... For the State.
Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State along with the acknowledgement of the private opposite party no.2/de facto complainant be kept with the record. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 2 years 4 months and till date, six witnesses have been examined out of 14 witnesses cited by the prosecution. As such, petitioner prays for bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and produces the case diary. I have taken into account the materials appearing in the case diary including the deposition of the witnesses. Having considered the background facts of the case and the minor gave birth to a female child out of the relationship, I
2 am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The prosecution granted an opportunity to complete the evidence of all its witnesses. As such, learned Trial Court is directed to ensure that evidence of rest of the prosecution witnesses are completed within a period of six months from the next date fixed. Petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid time period is over. Memo of Evidence submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The application for bail, being CRM (M) 2607 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
