Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for one year three months, evidence of the victim and the vulnerable witnesses are over, as such petitioner be released on bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the medico legal examination report as well as the statement of the victim under Section 183 of the BNSS. Attention of the Court has also been drawn to the deposition of the victim. Having considered the overall circumstances and the incriminating materials appearing against the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Learned trial Court is directed to complete rest of the witnesses within a period of six months from the next date fixed. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 2574 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of evidence and service in respect of service submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
