Also heard Mr. S.M.T Chistie, learned counsel appearing for the sole respondent. 2. The present contempt petition was instituted alleging violation of the Page No.# 2/2 directions passed by this Court vide order dated 16.12.2025 in WP(C) No. 7226 of 2025. This court, vide the said order, had directed the Director, Department of Elementary Education, Assam to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 27.11.2025, in the light of the notification dated 07.04.2025 issued by the Finance Department. 3. Mr. S.M.T Chistie, learned counsel appearing for the sole respondent has placed on record a copy of the speaking order dated 29.01.2026 issued by the Director, Department of Elementary Education, Assam. The Director, Department of Elementary Education, Assam, vide the said order, had on consideration of the appeal filed by the petitioner, proceeded to reject the same. 4. I have perused the speaking order dated 29.01.2026 and found that the same has been issued in compliance of the directives passed by this Court vide order dated 16.12.2025 in WP(C) No. 7226 of 2025. 5. No violation of the directives passed by this Court having been found to have occasioned while passing the order dated 29.01.2026, the Contempt petition stands closed with the liberty reserved to the petitioner to assail the said speaking order dated 29.01.2026 by way of filing an appropriate application. 6. A copy of the said speaking order dated 29.01.2026, as furnished by Mr. S.M.T Chistie, learned counsel appearing for the sole respondent, is kept on record and marked as ‘X’. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
