Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made an application seeking an electricity service connection. Since no orders were passed on the said application, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 5. Per contra, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the earlier application submitted by the petitioner was not accompanied by the prescribed application fee. Hence, the application could not be processed and was closed. On receipt of such application, the respondents shall consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a reasonable time. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
