No.14175 of 2026 ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.06.2026, for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2) and 351(3) of BNS, 2023 r/w Sections 20 and 25(1)(a) of the Arms Act, in Crime No.133 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner, joining together due to road rage, attacked the de facto complainant with hands and also threatened him with dire consequences by showing a patta knife. Hence, the case has been registered, and the accused have been arrested. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he was falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the injured only sustained simple injury. He is in custody from 13.06.2026 and ready to abide any condition imposed by this Court. Side) appearing for the respondent Police reiterated the prosecution case and reported that the petitioner has one previous case. Investigation is still pending. The injured sustained only simple injury. However, he opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner. 5. This Court heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, that the injured was discharged from the hospital and though the petitioner has one previous case, considering the period of incarceration, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner subject to certain conditions. [a] Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on condition to execute a bond for a sum of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai/Special Court for 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP(MD).
