The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other writ, order or direction, quashing the order dated 10.04.2000 bearing No. Na.E:66:HAS.99 passed by the 1st Respondent Annexure-F, insofar as it relates to the petitioner and the Schedule property is concerned; b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction directing the 4th Respondent to effect the E-Khatha of the Schedule Property in favour of the Petitioner pursuant to the Sale Deed dated. 16.8.2014 at Annexure-A; and c) Grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon’ble Court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The learned counsel for the Petitioner, learned AGA and learned counsel for Respondent No.4 submits - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:2785 WP No. 22495 of 2025 that lis in the present matter has already been decided by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide its order dated 20.3.2024 in WP No.15943/2022 and connected matter and subsequently followed by other Co-ordinate Bench in several other matters. 3. In that view of the matter, I pass the following: ORDER i) The Writ Petition is allowed. ii) The impugned order dated 10.4.2000 (Annexure-F) is quashed and Respondent No.4 [the Local Authority] is directed to restore the khata in favour of the Petitioner in respect of his respective property and also issue E-katha. iii) It is observed that this restoration and issuance of E-katha would be subject to the outcome of the proceedings that Respondent No.1 can initiate within a reasonable period of time.
