According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, though FIR was registered on 04.06.2026 under Sections 296(b) of BNS, 2023, and Sections 3(1) (r) and 3(1) (s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, so far, proper investigation has not been conducted. He further submitted that the petitioner is being a student has been compelled to discontinue the course from the college. A perusal of the petition does not reveal any allegations as against the concerned police officials. In such circumstances, this Court does not find any reason to transfer the investigation to CBCID. 4. In view of the above said facts, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conduct proper enquiry and to file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
