This is an application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 praying for granting bail Page No.# 2/3 to the accused-applicant in connection with Panbari P.S. Case No. 41/2025 (GR No. 182/2025), registered under Section 87 of the BNS, 2023. 3. An FIR was lodged by one Kalpana Mandal on 09.12.2025 with the allegations that her 18-year-old daughter went missing on 08.12.2025 and later on, she came to know that the accused-applicant kidnapped her daughter on the previous day. It is submitted that as per the Forwarding Report, the girl has been recovered from the possession of the accused-applicant, who is stated to be aged 22 years. 4. Vide an order dated 08.01.2026, a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court has granted interim protection to the accused-applicant and in terms of the aforesaid interim order, he appeared before the Investigating Authority. 5. Charge-sheet in the instant case has been submitted vide Charge-sheet No. 40/2025 dated 24.12.2025. 6. In view of the aforesaid submission of the charge-sheet, the learned counsel for the accused-applicant submits that the interim protection granted to the accused-applicant be extended to enable him to appear before the learned Trial Court and seek appropriate relief at the time of such appearance. 7. Taking into account the aforesaid submission and the facts involved, this Court is of the considered opinion that the interim protection granted to the accused-applicant, vide dated 08.01.2026, should be extended. 8. Accordingly, the interim protection order dated 08.01.2026 is extended till the accused-applicant appears before the learned Trial Court on receipt of summons. 9.
