The above petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 611 days in filing the appeal, challenging the award dated 29.11.2023 passed in M.C.O.P.No.1044 of 2022 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal / Special District Court, Madurai. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that if the petitioners are waiving interest for those periods, they are having no objections to condone the delay. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would fairly concede and made an endorsement to that effect. 5. Considering the above, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order.
