Hon'ble Justice Shri Bibhu Datta Guru Order on Board 25.03.2026 1. This MCC has been registered pursuant to the reference/PUD request letter dated 16.01.2026 submitted by the learned Second Additional District Judge, Dhamtari (District Dhamtari), seeking extension of time for disposal of Civil Appeal Nos. 36- A/2018 and 05-A/2018. While deciding Second Appeal No. 81/2024 and Second Appeal No. 46/2024, this Court had 5 earlier expressed an expectation that the Drst appellate Court shall consider and decide the aforesaid appeals expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the communication/copy of the judgment. 2. It appears from the judgment dated 15.09.2025 that this Court had only expressed an expectation for disposal of the Drst appeals within a period of three months and had not issued any mandatory direction requiring their disposal within the said stipulated period. However, the Presiding OAcer of the concerned Court has sought extension of time vide letter/PUD dated 16.01.2026. 3. In the circumstances, it is again expected that the learned Second Additional District Judge, Dhamtari, shall make an endeavour to decide the aforesaid appeals within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of this order. 4.
