ORDER The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 123 of BNS read with Section 24(1) of COTPA Act, in Crime No.183 of 2026, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 226 Kg of Cool-lip. Hence, this case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this is the second anticipatory bail filed by the petitioner. He further submitted that he is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court and he is ready to co-operate for investigation. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and, upon instructions, submitted that one previous case, similar in nature has been registered against the petitioner. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. I have given my anxious consideration to the submissions made by the
learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking into
consideration of the nature of the allegation against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has got one previous case similar in nature, the conduct of the petitioner in misusing the liberty, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
