2. At the outset, it was submitted by learned Standing Counsel for respondent that petitioner has only challenged disconnection notice without challenging the order of provisional assessment. 3. Leaned counsel for petitioner would submit that petitioner has not been served with provisional assessment order as such. 4. Today, learned counsel for petitioner was served across the bar a copy of the provisional assessment order. 5. Learned Standing counsel for respondent would submit that petitioner may submit their objection within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. If any such representation/reply is filed, the same would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed, in accordance of law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner, and any other interested party, which was agreed to by learned counsel for petitioner. 6. In view of the above submission, this Court permits petitioner to file its objection to the provisional assessment, within a period of ten days from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy and if any such representation/reply is filed, respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, after affording reasonable https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case. 7. Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
