Petitioner is serving as Clerk with the respondent- Jal Shakti Division, Bharmour, District Chamba, H.P. stated to be hard/ tribal area. His case is that on completion of requisite tenure at the aforesaid station, he preferred a representation on 10.11.2025 (Annexure P-2) seeking transfer to place of his choice, however, his aforesaid representation has not been considered and decided till date by respondent No.2/ Competent Authority. 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be content in case the respondents/competent authority(s) are directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation in accordance with law within a fixed-time schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer. 3. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 10.11.2025(Annexure P-2) in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
