The case of the petitioner is that he submitted online applications dated 06.06.2024 and 19.06.2024 for the subdivision of Survey No. 235/3 and transfer of patta in respect of the property situated at Melvanakkampadi Village, Chengam Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District. He seeks a direction to the respondents to effect the subdivision and issue a separate patta in his name within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. However, the said applications have not been considered to date. Challenging this inaction on the part of the respondent, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's online applications dated 06.06.2024 and 19.06.2024 seeking a survey of the subject property and transfer of patta. The respondent shall afford a fair hearing, after issuing due notice to the petitioner and any counter-parties or interested parties, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
