Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 08.12.2025 in connection with Narayanpur P.S. Case No.136 of 2025, registered under Sections 96 of BNS and 4/6 of POCSO Act, now pending in the court of learned Special Judge POCSO, Jamtara. 3. The learned counsel for the submits that the petitioner is in custody since 08.12.2025 and the victim was missing for more than 24 hours and she was initially accompanied by her friend, but still neither the parents of the victim nor her friend raised any alarm and after 24 hours, while she was coming back from the jungle, she met her uncle. The learned counsel has submitted that it appears that the petitioner and the victim remained at the place of occurrence with consent. 4. The learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer and submitted that the petitioner is 28 years of age and the victim is minor and said to be 16 years and there is direct allegation against the petitioner. 5. After hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the nature of allegation and the victim being a minor and 2026:JHHC:10176 2 direct allegation against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
