The complainants have filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 02.12.2024 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.36554/2018 (KLR-LG). - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:6094-DB CCC No. 886 of 2025 2. In terms of the said order, the matter was remanded to the accused to consider the case of the writ petitioners (complainants) afresh in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the said order. 3. The complainants are ex-service men and they had requested for grant of land. The request was rejected on the ground that their income was in excess of the ceiling limit. Aggrieved by the same, the complainants filed the said writ petition. 4. The accused has filed the affidavit of compliance enclosing the endorsement/additional endorsement issued to four of the complainants. It is stated that land is not available in the taluk where the complainants reside and the applications made are required to transferred to a neighboring taluk. Insofar as the remaining two complainants are concerned, they have been called upon to furnish the documents within a period of seven days from the date of the communications. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:6094-DB CCC No. 886 of 2025 5. In view of the above, we are unable to accept that any proceedings of willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court are required to be initiated. 6. The present complaint is closed. However, we clarify that this order will not preclude the complainants from availing substantive remedy in respect of the endorsement issued by the accused, if aggrieved by the same.
