KAMAL ORAL ORDER Petitioner is before this Court seeking writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the application filed in Form-9 Anubandha, dated 28.06.2022 as per Annexure-D. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had applied for grant of fishing rights with all relevant documents along with a demand draft for Rs.45,000/- dated 16.06.2020. He vehemently submits that despite having encashed the demand draft, the respondent-authorities have not proceeded to consider the application. Hence, seeks for allowing the petition. 3. Learned AGA on the other hand drawing attention of this Court to document at Annexure-F produced by the petitioner itself, submits that the application of the petitioner has already been considered and rejected and the demand drafts Rs.45,000/- and the other amount paid by the petitioner has also been returned. However, she fairly submits that if - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:448 WP No. 20645 of 2022 petitioner makes a fresh application and on petitioner satisfing the other eligibility criteria, same will be considered in accordance with law. 4. Submissions are taken on record. 5. Petition is disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh application, if so advised, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of order copy.
