On the information given by the Police Inspector of Nagbhid Police Station, District Chandrapur, the informant /victim has personally appeared before this Court. However, her presence is not required for hearing on the condonation of delay application. 3. By the present application, the applicant/convict is seeking condonation of delay of 35 days cased in filing the criminal appeal against the judgment and order dated 25/10/2024 passed by the learned Special Judge, Chandrapur, in Special (POCSO) Case No. 110 of 2022, whereby the applicant has been sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for twenty years for the offence punishable under Section 4(2) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, read with Section 376 (3), 376(1)(A) of the Indian Penal Code and other 2 14appa565.2026.odt offences. The sentences have been directed to run concurrently. 4. For the reasons stated in the application, the delay of 35 days caused in filing the criminal appeal is hereby condoned. 5.
