Petitioner has challenged order dated 20.3.2025, passed by Directorate of Rehabilitation, Tehri Dam Project. By the said order, legal representatives of late Chintamani Chamoli and Smt. Maya Devi, were allotted residential plots under Rehabilitation Policy. Petitioner contends that since he is the power of attorney holder of late Chintamani Chamoli, therefore, he has a better right of allotment, compared to the legal representatives of late Chintamani Chamoli. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents are right in submitting that after death of Chintamani Chamoli, reliance on the power of attorney given to petitioner, is misplaced. 6. Even otherwise also, petitioner does not have any right, title or interest over the land belonging to late Chintamani Chamoli, therefore, petitioner is not covered by the Rehabilitation Policy. The challenge to the order passed by Rehabilitation Directorate is thus, without any substance. There is no scope of interference.The writ petition fails and is dismissed.
