This is an application filed under Section 483 BNSS, praying for grant of bail to the petitioner, namely, Sandip Kumar who was arrested in connection Page No.# 2/2 with Guwahati GR(PS) Case No. 49/2026 registered under Sections 61(2)/318(4)/62/178/179/180 of BNS, 2023. 3. Mr. Biswas, learned counsel submitted that the petitioner was arrested in connection with this case on 07.03.2026 and since then, he is in custody and hence, considering his length of detention, the petitioner may be released on bail. 4. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in said Guwahati GR(PS) Case No. 49/2026 vide Charge-Sheet No. 55/2026 dated 31.03.2026. 5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Trial Court for his regular bail in said Guwahati GR(PS) Case No. 49/2026, which may be considered in accordance with law. 6. With the above observation and direction, this bail application stands disposed of. 7.
