In Re : Amir Hossain and others
... Petitioners.
Mr. Md. Asif Iqbal
... For the Petitioners.
Mr. Madhusudan Sur, APP, Ms. Sanjida Sultana
... For the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case for alleged recovery of 47.200 kgs. of ganja. It has been contended that the recovery was from the dicky of the said vehicle. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that investigation has already been concluded and date has been fixed for consideration of charges. Having considered that commercial quantity of contraband has been seized and the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act are attracted, I am not inclined to release the petitioners on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.
2 The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1396 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
