Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the total compensation amount ordered to be paid is Rs.9,73,000/- and out of which, Rs.1,94,600/- has already been deposited before the trial court on 21.06.2023. In this regard, he has also produced deposit receipt before this Court. He further submitted that today he has brought a draft dated 10.07.2026 bearing DD.No.308329 for Rs.2,00,000/- in the name of ‘Mani Finance’ and submitted that out of the total cheque amount of Rs.9,73,000/-, so far a sum of Rs.3,94,600/- has been paid/deposited. 3. The original draft for Rs.2,00,000/- dated 10.07.2026 is being given to Mr. Abijit Krishna, learned counsel for the respondent. In this regard, he has also given the photostat copy of the demand draft. The photostat copy of the demand draft is taken on record. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that after deducting Rs.3,94,600/- from the total cheque amount, the balance to be paid is Rs.5,78,400/- and that out of the remaining cheque amount, he will bring a https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL MP No. 7832 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 5 demand draft for Rs.2 lakhs in the name of the respondent company on the next date fixed in the case. 5. Learned counsel for the respondent submitted that he has no objection in allowing this petition as some substantial amount has been paid by the petitioner to show his bonafide. 6. Accordingly, considering the bonafide shown by the petitioner and also on being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition, the delay of 351 days in filing the above criminal revision petition is hereby condoned. 7.
