Petitioner is claiming promotion pay scale, which is payable upon completion of 12 years of satisfactory service after the date of grant of selection grade. 3. Reliefs sought in the writ petition are as follow: “a) Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature mandamus directing the respondent to forthwith grant Selection pay scale (Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/) by giving relaxation of to the petitioner of two years from due date, details whereof is given in para 4 of the writ petition along with arrears of the same. b) Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature mandamus directing the respondent to forthwith grant promotional pay scale from her promotion on the date of Assistant Teacher, Junior High School from her date of promotion i.e. 20.12.2008.” 4. After arguing for a while, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner be permitted to make representation to the competent authority and competent authority concerned may be directed to take decision thereupon. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed 2026:UHC:1330 of by permitting petitioner to make representation. 6. If he makes representation to the competent authority within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within eight weeks thereafter.
