Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 12.06.2025 in connection with S.T. Case No. 752 of 2025 arising out of Tamar P.S. Case No. 78 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 2394 of 2025, for the alleged offence registered under Sections 64(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the court of learned A.J.C.-VI-cum-Spl. Judge F.T.C.(CAW), Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the victim is major and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer for bail. 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that there is direct allegation made against the petitioner by a physically challenged victim, who is alleged to have been raped by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 6. The instant bail application is accordingly rejected. 7. To this, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the charge has already been framed and the trial has commenced, but none of the witnesses have been examined and the petitioner is in custody since 12.06.2025. He has also submitted that some observation may be made so that the trial be expedited. 2026:JHHC:10122 2 8. The State is directed to ensure prompt production of witnesses. 9. Learned counsel for the State is directed to communicate this order to the Director, Prosecution as well as Superintendent of Police of the concerned district to ensure compliance. 10.
