1. The present writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to decide the representation dated 08.04.2026 (Annexure P-3) by which the petitioner is praying for conducting the election of Zila Prashid, SAS Nagar, Mohali.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that representation for the redressal of the said grievance has already been made on 08.04.2026 and the petitioner would be satisfied in case a time-bound direction be given to the respondents to decide the same.
