Due to inadvertence, the name of the Police Station was wrongly recorded as ‘Bishnupur’ instead of ‘Sonamukhi’ in the cause title and prayer portion. However, the proper case diary relating to Sonamukhi PS Case No. 27 dated 27.1.2026 had come on that day. After hearing the parties on merits, an order was passed granting anticipatory bail to the petitioners. But, an error crept into the heading of the order sheet. There, Sonamukhi PS was wrongly mentioned as Bishnupur P.S. Learned counsel for the State submits that the case diary came for the correct case number and there is an endorsement contained in the case diary. At the second line of the heading of the order dated 12.03.2026, instead of ‘Bishnupur’ it should actually be ‘Sonamukhi’. The inadvertent error is hereby corrected and the order sheet dated 12.3.2026 shall always be read conjointly with this order.
