4. By means of the present C528 application, applicants seeks the indulgence of this Court for quashing the charge-sheet dated 19.07.2023; summoning
order dated 23.04.2025 and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.2651 of 2025 (Case Crime No.0250 of 2023), under Sections 323, 498-A, 504 IPC and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1st Dehradun on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.
5. Applicants and respondent no.2 are present before this Court through V.C., duly identified by their respective Advocates.
6. Along with C528 application, a compounding application (IA No.2/2026) has been filed by the parties, duly supported by their respective affidavits. In the compounding application, it has been stated that dispute between the parties has been resolved and the applicnat no.1 and respondent no.2 are living together. These facts have been stated in the para nos.3 to 6 of the compounding application.

7. Respondent no.2 appeared through V.C. and she submits that the dispute between the parties has been settled amicably and she has no objection in case the compounding application is allowed.
8. Since the parties have settled their dispute amicably and they want to live together, it is submitted by learned counsel for the parties that no useful purpose would be served for keeping the criminal proceedings pending.
9. In this view of the matter, the present C528 application is allowed in terms of the compromise entered into between the parties. Consequently, the entire criminal proceedings of Criminal Case No.2651 of 2025 (Case Crime No.0250 of 2023), under Sections 323, 498- A, 504 IPC and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1st Dehradun are hereby quashed.
10. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of accordingly.
