The petitioner challenges the Notice dated 17.12.2025 issued under Section 7 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 (as applicable to the State of Jharkhand). 3. The impugned notice was purportedly issued as a consequence of order dated 23.09.2025 made by the District Mining Officer, Lohardaga. As against the order dated 23.09.2025, the petitioner has instituted a revision petition before the Revisional Authority, which has, by order dated 23.02.2026, stayed the order dated 23.09.2025 and the consequent demand dated 15.10.2025, subject to compliance of certain conditions. 4. In view of the stay order dated 23.02.2026, there is no question of now proceeding with the impugned notice dated 17.12.2025. 2026:JHHC:10111-DB 2 Accordingly, the reliefs in this petition, stand worked out. All contentions of all parties are, however, left open because we are disposing of the petition on the ground that reliefs sought therein are now rendered infructuous. 5.
