Pachaiyappan Government Counsel ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 03.10.2025. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 03.10.2025, requesting the second respondent to issue an Ayan Patta for the house situated in Natham Survey No. 913/27, 30 in Itchipalayam-A Village, Kodumudi Taluk, Erode District. He further submitted that the said representation has not been considered till date, and challenging this inaction, the petitioner has approached this Court. 3. The learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the third respondent has already forwarded a report to the second respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer, who is the competent authority to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner’s representation. __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 25852 of 2026 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 03.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. This exercise shall be completed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
