In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: a) Direct the respondents to consider the applications of the Petitioner dated 23.08.2000, 22.04.2002, 12.07.2021, 05.08.2024 and 29.04.2025 vide ANNEXURES-B, B1, B2, B3 and B4 respectively for appointment on compassionate grounds by issuing a Writ of Mandamus. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:1096 WP No. 21147 of 2025 b) Direct the respondents to give appointments to the petitioner on compassionate grounds by virtue of the applications of the Petitioner dated 23.08.2000, 22.04.2002, 12.07.2021, 05.08.2024 and 29.04.2025 vide ANNEXURES-B, B1, B2, B3 and B4 respectively by issuing a Writ of Mandamus. c) Grant such other and further reliefs in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The father of the petitioner No.1 i.e., Late H.K.Devaraju, was working as FDA in respondent No.2- Corporation and he died on 23.08.1999, while he was in service. The petitioner, who is the son of the deceased employee, filed an application seeking appointment on compassionate ground on 23.08.2000, 22.04.2002, 12.07.2021, 05.08.2024 and 29.04.2025 vide Annexure-B series. At this stage, the learned counsel for the respondent No.2 submitted that if this Court grants some reasonable time, the application submitted by the petitioner at Annexure-B series will be considered in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of. 5. Respondents are directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner at Annexure-B series, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
