ORDER This Writ petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to to the Respondents No.1 and 2 to defreeze the petitioner’s accounts bearing No.50100174686789 (HDFC bank, Mettur Branch) in pursuance of the petitioner’s representation dated 05.02.2026
2. The learned counsel for the second respondent submits that the second respondent requested the first respondent to issue necessary instruction. However, so far no reply has been received by the banker. It is further submitted that the first respondent made request to mark lien over the petitioner’s account to the tune of Rs.4,00,000/-
3. That apart, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in respect of the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, the first respondent requested the second respondent to freeze the petitioner’s bank account. 4. In view of the aforementioned settlement, the second respondent is
directed to defreeze the petitioner’s bank account bearing No. 50100174686789 and to permit the petitioner to operate the said account.
