The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to settle and disburse the admitted final bill amount of ₹50,00,000/- payable to him in respect of the work of Strengthening of BT Road at Ward No.5, from Nachankadu Maduraveeran Temple opposite to Nachankadu Karuppusamy Temple, and at Ward No.2, Nagappan Kottai Main Road, Konganapuram Town Panchayat, under the Special Road Programme, 2020–2021. 3. It is the petitioner’s case that he completed the entire work to the satisfaction of the respondents and submitted the final bills for payment. However, despite repeated requests, the third respondent has not taken any steps to settle the admitted amount due to the petitioner. 4.
The learned State Counsel, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner’s representations would be considered in accordance with law within such time as may be stipulated by this Court. 5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner’s representations dated 03.03.2022, 23.08.2023, 16.02.2024, 09.01.2025 and 08.06.2026, on their own merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
