The petitioner is an accused in the case registered for the offence punishable under Section 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged. There is alleged recovery of the stolen motorcycle on the confession of the petitioner. In fact, the petitioner has not made any such confession. Though the petitioner has criminal antecedent, however, considering that he is in judicial custody since 8th March, 2025 and the charge against him has already been framed by the concerned trail court, he may be given the privilege of regular bail. 3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the petitioner’s prayer for regular bail. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the materials available on record, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing 2026:JHHC:5165 2 bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ranchi in connection with Chutia P.S.
