This is an application filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS) 2023 praying for grant of bail to the accused Page No.# 2/2 applicant in connection with Chandmari P.S. Case No.285/2025, registered under Section 69 of BNS. An FIR was lodged on 07.12.2025 alleging that after inducing her into a relationship, the accused applicant had a sexual relationship with her, due to which she got pregnant, and he subsequently started avoiding her and refused to marry her. A Coordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 09.01.2026, had granted interim bail and in terms of the aforesaid interim protection, the accused applicant has already appeared before the I.O. of the case and accordingly got his statement recorded. The learned Addl. P.P., on the other hand, submits that there are incriminating materials against the accused applicant for inducing the victim girl, who is 18 years of age; therefore, he opposes confirmation of the bail at this stage. This Court, after perusal of the Case Diary and after hearing the learned counsel for the respective parties, is of the opinion that the interim bail granted on 09.01.2026 should be confirmed. Accordingly, this bail application is disposed of by confirming the interim protection dated 09.01.2026 of this Court on the same terms and conditions. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
