The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to settle and disburse the admitted final bill amount of Rs.21,00,000/- payable to the petitioner in respect of the work of strengthening the BT Road at Ward No.5, from Nachankadu Maduraveeran Temple to the area opposite Nachankadu Karuppusamy Temple, and at Ward No.2, Nagappan Kottai Main Road area, in Konganapuram Town Panchayat, executed under the Special Road Programme, 2020–2021. 3. The petitioner states that, pursuant to the approval granted by the first respondent, the third respondent floated a tender inviting bids for the aforesaid work. The petitioner was declared the successful bidder, and a work order was issued in his favour by the third respondent. It is further stated that https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.26650 of 2026 Page Nos.3/4 the petitioner completed the entire work entrusted to him to the satisfaction of the respondents and submitted the corresponding bills for payment. However, despite repeated representations, the admitted bill amount has not been disbursed. 4. Learned Government Counsel, on instructions, submits that the petitioner’s representations would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law within such time as may be stipulated by this Court. 5. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner’s representations dated 03.03.2022, 23.08.2023, 16.02.2024, 09.01.2025 and 08.06.2026, on their own merits, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
