No. 1680 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 3 ORDER The Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioners complaint dated 04.05.2026 and initiate appropriate criminal action against the officer. 2. It is seen that the petitioner lodged a complaint as against the Inspector of Police one Mr.John Kennedy alleging some sexual assault. In this regard, he is facing departmental proceedings. However, no criminal complaint registered so far. Therefore, petitioner lodged a complaint before the 4th respondent and it is pending for enquiry. 3. In view of the above, the 4th respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner. If any cognizable offence is made as against the counter party, the 4th respondent shall register the FIR and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law. 4.
