Court No. 6 (265719) 15.10.2026 (AD 28) (S. Banerjee) CO 3820 of 2026 Smt. Debleena Ghosh Vs. Sri Gaurav Datta Mr. Sanjay Mukherjee Mr. Amit Nath …for the petitioner Ms. Shohini Chakrabarty Mr. Koushik Bhattacharyya …for the opposite-party This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the mother and is directed against order no. 34 dated October 6, 2026 passed by the learned Additional District Judge, 1st Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas in Matrimonial Suit No. 1282 of 2024. By the order impugned the application under Section 151 of the Civil Procedure Code filed by the father/opposite-party, stood allowed thereby directing the mother/petitioner to present the minor daughter, namely Raina Datta before a suitable device for video conferencing at 9 a.m. Indian Standard Time (IST) on October 24, 2026 for two hours to enable the father/opposite-party to interact with and wish the minor daughter on her birthday. Mr. Mukherjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that 9 a.m. IST on October 24, 2 2026 is not a convenient time for the online meeting between the father and the minor daughter as the corresponding time at Canada is 11:30 in the night. Ms. Chakrabarty, learned advocate appearing for the opposite party submits, on instructions, that the opposite-party is agreeable if the time for interaction/meeting is modified so that it does not cause any inconvenience to the child. At the suggestion of the learned advocates for the respective parties, the time for online interaction between the opposite-party/father and the minor daughter on October 24, 2026 is fixed on and from 6:30 p.m. IST to 7:30 p.m. IST on that day corresponding to 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Canada. The order stands modified only to the extent of the period and timing of visitation as indicated hereinbefore and it is clarified that all other directions and modalities stipulated in the impugned order are not interfered with by this Court. The petitioner/mother shall share her contact number to the opposite-party/father through her learned advocate-on-record before the learned trial judge to enable the father/opposite-party to share the link to the petitioner/mother for such online interaction with the child. 3 The petitioner/mother shall render all cooperation to facilitate the online interaction between the parties in terms of the order passed by the learned trial judge as modified by this Court. With the above observations and direction this civil revision application stands disposed of. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
