This is an application under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of Special NDPS Case No.123/2024 pending in the court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sribhumi. Page No.# 2/2 3. The petitioner has been shown as absconder in a charge sheet. He now apprehends that if he appears before the trial court, he will be remanded to custody. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is interested in facing the trial and therefore, he may be given one opportunity to that effect. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsels of both sides. 6. Since the petitioner is interested in facing the trial, he deserves to be given an opportunity to that effect. Therefore, his Criminal Petition is allowed. 7. It is hereby directed that the petitioner Abu Md. Salman @ Salman shall appear before the court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sribhumi in connection with Special NDPS Case No.123/2024 within next 10 days from today. On his appearance, the petitioner shall be released on bail of ₹50,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial court.
