1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.
2. The petitioner is suffering from Guillain-Barre syndrome. She has immense problem in travelling. Her application seeking transfer was returned to her as the school she opted for was less than 25 kilometers away from her present school.
3. The petitioner applied afresh in the prescribed format seeking transfer in a school in the year

2024. The same is pending consideration at the end of the School authority.
4. Without entering into the merits of the same, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the head of the institution to consider the said application and if the prayer of the petitioner is allowed then take necessary steps to forward the application of the petitioner to the District Inspector of Schools in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
5. The District Inspector of Schools shall take consequential necessary steps in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of all documents from the school.
6. If the application of the petitioner for transfer is allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken without any further delay.
7. The fate of the petitioner’s application shall be made known to the petitioner.
8. It is made clear that suspension of Utsashree portal will not stand in way of the respondent
3 authority to consider the transfer application of the petitioner.
9. The writ petition stands disposed of.
10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
