It has also been contended that there is delayed FIR in the present case without any explanation and the same enures benefits to the present petitioner. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the court to the statement of one of the witnesses who has stated regarding the motive behind the present incident. Be that as it may, the case has very recently been committed and charges are yet to be framed. 2 However, having regard to the heinousness of the offence, I am of the opinion that this is a fit case for custodial trial, as such, the prayer for bail is rejected. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM(M) 2167 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
