Appellant Insurance Company is represented. Respondent No. 1 Smt. Alaka Kalita, who has by now attained majority is however not present. The other two respondents are minor children of the respondent No. 1 and she is representing them. The parties have arrived at a settlement amount of Rs. 28,00,000/- The amount shall be deposited with the Registry within a period of 4 (four) weeks. Out of the settlement amount of Rs. 28,00,000/-, an amount of Rs. 14,00,000/- is to be released to the respondent No. 1. Out of the remaining amount of Rs.
Page No.# 3/3 14,00,000/-, each of the remaining respondent Nos. 1, 2 & 3 will be entitled to Rs. 4,60,000/-. As far as the amounts in respect of the minor children i.e. respondent Nos. 3 & 4, are concerned, the said amount of Rs. 4,60,000/- shall be kept in fixed deposit till they attain majority. Statutory deposit made earlier by the Insurance Company is allowed to be withdrawn by the Insurance Company before the Registry.
