Government Advocate (Crl. Side) ORDER The petitioner is the 1st accused in Spl.S.C.No.2 of 2017 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under the POSCO Act, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil. He was tried along with three other accused for the offence under the provisions of POCSO Act. Along with the appeal, the petitioner has filed a petition in Crl.M.P.(MD)No.19559 of 2025 seeking to suspend the sentence and the same has been dismissed by this Court, by order dated 03.02.2026. This is the second petition filed by the petitioner seeking to suspend the sentence imposed by the trial Court. 2. This Court, after considering the merits of the case and the nature of offence, has rejected the earlier petition, by passing a detailed order.
