On perusal of the same, it appears that pursuant to the Court’s order dated May 23, 2025, letter of appointment dated September 21, 2026 has already been issued by the Joint Managing Director, West Bengal Transport Corporation Ltd. to the petitioner. The said affidavit also contains copy of the joining letter of the petitioner as Annexure –‘P’ thereof. It conclusively shows that the petitioner has been given appointment and he has joined in the post. 2 Therefore, on consideration of the entire fact as above, the Court is satisfied about the due and substantive compliance of the order dated May 23, 2025 in WPO 531 of 2021, by the alleged contemnor.
