The petitioner has initially lodged a compliant on 07.02.2026 and sent a written complaint again on 04.04.2026, 13.04.2026 and again on 02.05.2026 with regard to initiating action for the theft of his vehicle. 3. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, the petitioner has given a statement that he would not like to pursue the same on 12.05.2026 and therefore, they have closed the complaint on 12.05.2026. 4. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner pointed out that no such statement was given by the petitioner on 12.05.2026 and the respondent police have, on their own, recorded such a statement. In view of the above said facts, there shall be a direction to the second respondent police to continue with the investigation based upon the complaint lodged by the petitioner herein on 07.02.2026. 6.
