The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the grievance of the petitioner is that the 7th respondent, without obtaining the necessary planning permission and building approval, proceeded with the construction in the disputed property. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner filed the main writ petition. This Court, by order dated 19.11.2025, directed the 6th respondent to take appropriate action by stopping the unauthorised construction and by locking and sealing the premises, after following the due procedure contemplated under law. It is the further grievance of the petitioner that the said order has not been complied with by the 6th respondent. Hence, the present Contempt Petition has been filed. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Cont.P(MD)No.1401 of 2026 3. Accordingly, this Court is not inclined to proceed with the contempt proceedings. The Contempt Petition is closed. 10.07.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No PKN To Muthulakshmi, The Municipal Commissioner, Thirumangalam Municipal Office, Tirumangalam, Madurai District. 3/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Cont.P(MD)No.1401 of 2026 M.DHANDAPANI, J.
