The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records in relates to the case of the petitioners from the possession of respondents for its kind perusal. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to consider and decide the pending representations (Annexure-P/2) made by the petitioners for grant of promotion from the post of Class-IV Peon (T-Cadre) to the post of Assistant Grade-III within a stipulated period of 15 days. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief/relief’s in favour of the petitioners, which the Hon’ble Court deemed fit & just in the facts and circumstances of the case, including awarding of the costs to the petitioners. ” 2. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners are working on the post of Peon as Class-IV employees and after completion of the 3 / 3 requisite period of service, petitioners became entitled for promotion on the post of Assistant Grade-III however, since long time, DPC has not been constituted. Petitioners have submitted representation dated Annexure-P/2 17.09.2024, which is pending consideration and therefore, direction be issued to the concerned authorities to take decision on the representation submitted by the petitioners. He also submits that the petitioners may also be permitted to submit a fresh comprehensive representation before respondent No. 5 and direction be issued to the said respondent to take decision also on the representation to be submitted by the petitioners, at the earliest, within specified time frame. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that he is having no objection to the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioners. 4. On due consideration of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition at this stage is disposed of permitting the petitioners to submit fresh comprehensive representation and in the event, such a representation is submitted, respondent No. 5 shall consider and take decision on the said representation, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court. 5.
